YOUTH MUSIC ABROAD
Youth Music Abroad (YMA) is a select honor band program that takes a bi-annual concert tour of Europe. The program is sponsored through Notable Student Travel and is directed by several York County band directors. Every two years, YMA takes a concert band and jazz band on a two-week summer tour of Europe. Students from South Central Pennsylvania are recommended to receive invitations based on musical ability and personal character.

In order to protect your travel investment, travel insurance is strongly recommended. Travel insurance will provide protection for trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel accident/medical protection and baggage/instrument insurance. If interested in purchasing the Classic Plus insurance plan with “Cancel For Any Reason” add-on, you must purchase this plan by May 31, 2025.

Passports
Passports must be valid at least 6 months past the tour start date. Processing time for new passports or renewals is 10-12 weeks. Passport application information can be found at www.travel.state.gov. Student passport information must be submitted via online form by March 1, 2026.
